Stacey Fitzmaurice has turned that on its head tackling some of the most public-facing and challenging threats and vulnerabilities in the nation. As TSA’s Executive Assistant Administrator for Operations Support and Senior Official Performing the Duties of Deputy Administrator, she is responsible for providing innovative solutions and processes to protect U.S. transportation systems and the traveling public.
Her experience and success at TSA speak to a career of exceptional work, managing TSA’s domestic security operations of over 53,000 employees and a $4.1 billion annual budget. Leading TSA’s Secure Flight and vetting programs as well as TSA’s Checkpoint Technology portfolio, her work improving the customer experience and safety of the flying public has propelled her up the TSA ladder. Before TSA, Fitzmaurice served as Acting Executive Director, PMO, Office of Technology Innovation and Acquisition, and Acting Director New Targeting Programs, National Targeting Center at U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Fitzmaurice gained her chops with the Airlines Reporting Corporation, US Airways, and Trans States Airlines before applying her hands-on experience to national policy.
